Authentic village recipes, handcrafted with love, delivered fresh to Hoodi, Varthur and Whitefield.
Some recipes shouldn't live only in memory. They deserve to travel, to be tasted, to be passed forward.
Our journey began in a small kitchen in coastal Puri, where Aaja cooked dalma in a clay pot every Thursday and Maa rolled chakuli pithas at dawn. The smell of mustard oil and roasted panch phutana — that's where Odisha lives.
Years later in Bengaluru, we missed those flavours so deeply that we built a kitchen to bring them back. Not adapted, not fusioned. Just the way they've always been made — with patience, with hands that know, with the same brass utensils and clay handis we grew up watching.

This restaurant is an ideal place for anyone trying to explore authentic Odia food, including some of the most delicious sweets ever!
There is a friendly, welcoming vibe at this place, with the owners and staff always eager to help out and attentive to customer's needs. Keep it up guys!
Among my multiple visits to this restaurant over a weekend, for breakfast, I tried out the Berhampur plate which included 2 Poori, 1 Bara, 1 Idly, Upma, Chutney and Ghugni. Served on leaves, the quality of food and the blend of flavours was just delightful.
For lunch, I tried out Mutton Kasa, Chicken Kasa, Macha Bhaja and Macha Besara, each one offered a different blend of spices and were very well made. The sweets — Chhena Poda and Rasgulla — are absolute mouth-watering and to die for. The soft and just-perfect sweet Gaja was a pleasant surprise too.
The evening included the owner singing beautiful Hindi songs, which just added to the vibe, while enjoying the subtle yet delicious Dahi Bara Aloo Dum. For dinner, I tried the Egg Dal Tadka with Paratha, soothing and tasty at the same time.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover the taste of authentic Odia food. It is difficult to resist re-visiting the place, once you try out the food here. Looking forward to the next time!
The mutton curry reminded me of the one my mother made back at my home in Odisha. Amazing taste. Actually authentic Odia food is here. Very tasty Odia food in Bangalore.
The taste was very nice. Had many dishes — macha besara, mutton curry, ambula rai and many more. Everything tasted amazing. Their service was fast and the food was fresh. Their chhena poda ended the lunch as a tasty dessert. I would strongly recommend this place.
